A helical gear is a bevel equipment in which two axes of rotation intersect. Speaking of the narrow definition of bevel gears, it can increase or decrease speed, but helical gears don’t have this ability because the number of the teeth of the pair of gears is the same. Their purpose is limited to changing the path of transmission. Because they are a type of bevel gear, bevel gears involve some basic features, such as spur gears, helical gears, and zero-tooth gear types.
